Melissa Pless, M.Ed.,LPC,LCDC

Melissa
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor with 10+ years of experience from a variety of clinical settings. Some of the issues I frequently work with include substance use disorders/addictions, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationships, existential issues and challenges related to life transitions.
My first priority is to get to know you. Together, we'll determine the most effective treatment tailored to your personality and your unique needs and goals. My goal is to create a collaborative, supportive partnership that fosters healing and leads to the changes that matter most to YOU!
I truly love what I do and I’m passionate about helping people find their way in this crazy world. I would be honored to join you on your journey.
A little more about me:
Although born in Louisiana, I consider myself a native Houstonian. I enjoy spending time outdoors (unless it's August in Houston) and going on adventures with my husband and daughter.
In my free time, you can find me eating mexican food, experimenting in the garden or watching a documentary. I love learning new things and firmly believe there is no such thing as a stupid question.
