Melissa
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor with clinical experience treating substance use and co-occurring disorders. Some of the issues I frequently work with include: alcohol and drug use, process addictions, anxiety, depression, stress management, self-esteem, interpersonal relationships and challenges related to life transitions. I use a variety of theories and orientations to deliver effective treatment tailored to your
needs. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and will work with you to establish an open, trusting environment for healing and growth to take place. The process of selecting a therapist can be overwhelming. Whether you are a first-timer exploring therapy or returning for maintenance, feel free to reach out for more
information. I would love to help you on your journey!

About me:
Although born in Louisiana, I consider myself a native Houstonian. I enjoy spending time outdoors (when Houston weather permits) and traveling with my husband and daughter. In my free time, you can find me eating Mexican food, experimenting in the garden or watching a documentary.
