I have pursued this profession because of my own experiences with loss, grief, and anxieties. While these aren’t things I share in session, I believe they are incredibly helpful in informing the way I do this work. I truly see these experiences as gifts that allow me to relate and empathize with a variety of client experiences and challenge people in unique ways. I also find great encouragement in my own faith and spiritual journey, which is something I offer to integrate into client care or not, based on where you are in your faith journey. I specialize in working with individuals age 16 & up, as well as marriage and family issues.
I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor degree in Psychology and have a Master of Education in Counseling from the University of Houston. I have worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2015. I have received advanced training in EMDR, and find it to be a powerful tool to address a variety of life’s challenges. I am happily married with 3 children and a rambunctious golden retriever dog. When I'm not counseling, I spend lots of time with my family, friends, and enjoying the outdoors!
